Jesse Minter's staff is starting to take form.
The Ravens have hired former Atlanta Falcons Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator Dwayne Ledford.
Ledford had been with the Falcons since 2021, serving as Atlanta's offensive line coach for all five seasons and earning the run game coordinator position for the last two. Spurred by a strong blocking unit and star running back Bijan Robinson, the Falcons have had a top-10 rushing offense in each of the past three seasons.
A former NFL offensive lineman, the 49-year-old Ledford coached at the college level before earning his first NFL job in Atlanta. He made stops at North Carolina, East Carolina, North Carolina State, and Louisville, among others.
Ledford was also reportedlyin the mixfor the Vikings' offensive line coach opening. He'll instead look to bolster the Ravens' offensive front, which paved the way for the league's No. 2 rushing attack but was inconsistent at times this past season.
Shawn Flaherty, who served as Ledford's assistant offensive line coach in Atlanta, is also joining Minter's staff, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. Flaherty played offensive line at Towson before starting his coaching career.
The two additions to Minter's staff come after the Ravens reportedly hiredNotre Dame defensive backs coach Mike Mickenson Sunday.
