FOXBOROUGH, Mass.The New England Patriots announced that they have signed LB Amari Gainer to the practice squad.
Gainer, 25, originally was signed by Las Vegas as a rookie free agent on May 9, 2024 out of North Carolina. The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder, played in 17 games last season, mostly on special teams, and finished with 5 special teams tackles. He was released by Las Vegas on Aug. 25, 2025. Gainer played five seasons at Florida State (2018-22) before finishing his career at North Carolina in 2023.
